These programmes are designed to empower our graduates through tailored content specific to their fields, alongside training in soft skills and business acumen. Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for our graduate programmes are designed to ensure alignment with Boxfusion’s talent development objectives and regulatory frameworks, such as BBBEE (Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment) compliance and Skills Development. By establishing clear criteria, we promote a fair and transparent selection process while supporting our commitment to fostering diverse talent. These criteria also enable accurate reporting on graduate employment initiatives as part of our BBBEE scorecard, reflecting our contribution to South Africa’s economic transformation goals.
1. Age Requirement: Applicants must be between 18 and 34 years old at the time of application.
- Applicants must be entering their first IT-related job.
- Prior work experience in IT disqualifies candidates for these specific programmes.
Our Application Process

Software Engineering Graduate Programme
Intake: 10-15 graduates annually
Start
Start Date: 1st February
Our Software Engineering Programme begins annually on the 1st of February. Between month one to four graduates have extensive training on the Boxfusion tech stack, exposure and theoretical knowledge on our various departments such as mobile development, infrastructure and devops, and data and AI. During this time, they also cover topics such as coding standards and best practice along with appropriate documentation. Graduates are required to learn our internal, low code, .Net Framework, Shesha. Throughout these four months they will be tested and required to develop individual solutions which are evaluated by our senior developers. Due to our Microsoft Partner status, we encourage the software engineering graduates to complete two Microsoft Certifications during their programme.

At Boxfusion, we treat testing and quality assurance as a career path of its own. As such we have developed the Testing Graduate Programme. During the first 6 weeks the graduates learn about various testing principles, tools, techniques, methodologies and the Software Development Lifecycle and the importance of their role in the SDLC. Throughout the first 6 weeks they will be regularly assessed based on the content shared with them.

The Business Analyst Graduate Programme is a structured, immersive journey designed to build well-rounded, highly skilled professionals. Over the first 9 months, graduates participate in departmental rotations, gaining exposure to key areas such as the Product Team, Bespoke Solutions, and the Delivery Team.
During each rotation, participants will complete a series of tasks and projects, allowing them to develop practical experience and an in-depth understanding of each department’s role in the business. Graduates are also required to complete a Microsoft Certification, further enhancing their technical and analytical capabilities.

Upon successful completion of the programme and based on performance, graduates may receive either a permanent or fixed-term contract.
